Not Sold Description
1852-O $10 AU 58 PCGS. The 1852-O boasts the second lowest mintage of all New Orleans Mint eagles produced to this point and survivors are nearly as rare as those of the 1848-O and 1849-O issues. The typically encountered grade is either VF or XF and, since only 3 Mint State survivors have been certified to date, the present Choice About Uncirculated specimen is among the finest representatives available in today's market. The surfaces show bright, semi-reflective fields with honey-gold coloration. The striking quality is above average for a product of the New Orleans Mint and the overall scuffy appearance does little to detract from this coin's desirability.
