Splendid 1853/2 Eagle, AU55
1853/2 $10 AU55 NGC. FS-301, formerly FS-007. The lower left tip of the underdigit 2 and the date location, with the 1 near the denticles, confirm the overdate variant. The splendid orange-gold surfaces are still partially lustrous, and the light abrasions are grade-consistent, but there are no singular distractions.
