Description
1853-O $10 AU53 PCGS. The luster is ample for the grade, and the honey-tinged surfaces are unblemished. A scant 51,000 pieces were struck. The base of the 53 in the date is repunched, and a shield ring rests atop the second vertical stripe. Examples without the shield ring are also known, unlike the '51-O.From The Silver Fox Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
