Description
1853-O $10 AU55 NGC. The yellow-gold surfaces of this Choice AU O-mint eagle are surprisingly free of distracting abrasions. A thin die break connects the bottoms of the four digits in the date, and another crack is observed from star 1 through star 4. Small die lumps are observed in the same area. A pleasing example of an issue that becomes quite challenging above the MS60 level.
