High Grade 1853-O Eagle
1853-O AU 53. While one of the more available O-mint tens, in AU condition the '53-O is quite elusive with an estimated 17-18 pieces believed to exist today in that grade range. This is a well defined example that shows rich reddish-coppery color over both sides. The surfaces are only marred by a couple of scratches by star 2 on the obverse.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 263F, PCGS# 8612, GSID# 9444)
