Description
NGC 1854-O XF 45. Large Date. The scarcer of the two varieties of this issue, the Large Date is really VERY large, perhaps huge. This piece retains a noticeable portion of luster surrounding the outer devices on each side, but the surfaces have an interior brightness, suggestive of a coin that has been wiped at one time. Otherwise, there are just a few minor handling marks on each side, none of which are serious. Trends $1850 in XF 40. $8250 in AU 50 (1/25).
