Mint State Small Date 1854-O Ten Dollar
1854-O Small Date MS 61 Large Reverse Planchet Lamination. The more frequently encountered of the two date variants; however, mint state examples are very elusive. This is the first uncirculated piece we have handled in more than six years. The devices are well defined and the coin has bright mint luster. On the lower reverse is a large, irregularly shaped planchet lamination that gives the coin a numismatic interest other pieces lack, but may be perceived by others as a flaw.
