Description

1854-S $10 AU50 PCGS. The inaugural 1854-S eagles were struck in quantity (123,826 pieces) -- many survive today, although the vast majority are in circulated condition. This example shows its time spent in the rough and tumble West Coast commerce. Numerous small abrasions and marks are scattered about the surfaces, including a few light rim dings and stacking marks. Green-gold color displays attractive olive and orange accents, with solid About Uncirculated definition.(Registry values: N1793)
