Description

1854-S $10 AU50 PCGS. Rich orange-gold patina complements sharp detail on this AU first-year San Francisco eagle. Light wear and abrasions appear on each side, but portions of the fields retain prooflike reflectivity. Surprisingly appealing for the grade. The San Francisco Mint struck more than 123,000 eagles its first year of operation.
