Description

1854-S $10 AU53 PCGS. The numismatic significance of the 1854-S should not be overlooked by collectors. These first-year coins represent important pieces of Gold Rush history. This example saw modest circulation, yet hints of luster remain. Bright yellow-gold surfaces are lightly hairlined. Abrasions are mostly superficial, however, and detail is strong. Reddish accents appear at the upper reverse.(Registry values: N1793)
