1854-S Liberty Eagle, AU55
Smooth and Attractive
1854-S $10 AU55 NGC. Barely a brush of friction appears over
the satiny, yellow-gold surfaces of this Choice AU 1854-S ten. The
strike is bold, and portions of the fields are somewhat reflective.
No abrasions are observed. The 1854-S is occasionally seen in
circulated condition, but Mint State coins are significant
rarities. This piece comes extremely close to the Uncirculated
level.From The Ohio Valley Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
