1854-S $10 AU58 NGC. CAC. Uncirculated 1854-S eagles are
rare and none grade finer than MS62. This near-Mint representative
possesses about as much eye appeal as a low-end Uncirculated coin
but at a much more affordable cost level. The devices are boldly
rendered and show only trivial evidence of wear. Moderate luster
remains in the fields, and there are no bothersome abrasions. Each
side displays lovely straw-gold color. Census: 52 in 58, 6 finer
