Rare Any Finer
1854-S $10 AU58 NGC. The 1854-S is available in circulated
grades, but the significant rarity of Mint State examples puts
increased pressure on the limited supply of near-Mint coins. This
piece is well-struck and shows the expected friction over the high
points of the design. Remnants of rose-gold luster reside in the
recesses, while the remainder of each side is olive-gold in color.
