1854-S Liberty Eagle, XF45

1854-S $10 XF45 NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. The 1854-S
Liberty eagle claims a substantial mintage of 123,826 pieces,
making it an available issue in most grades. This coin was
recovered from the wreck of the S.S. Republic. Moderate wear
shows on the well-detailed design elements, with much interior
detail still intact on Liberty's hair and the eagle's wings, but
the stars are flat. The yellow and reddish-gold surfaces show
