Description
1854-S $10 XF45 PCGS. The 1854-S eagle is the first coin of this denomination struck at the San Francisco Mint. This Choice XF specimen displays attractive honey-gold patina, and traces of luster in the recesses. The design features have benefited from a sharp strike, further enhancing the coin's overall appeal. We note a couple of inoffensive milling marks on Liberty's neck.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 263K, PCGS# 8615, GSID# 9447)
