Description
1855 $10 AU58 NGC. Mint luster remains at the margins of this lightly circulated mid-50s ten. The 1855 issue is among the more available 1850s-era eagles, and the mintage of 121,701 pieces was the final year of six-digit production for the No Motto design. This example shows scattered tiny marks but no large abrasions, with pleasing straw-gold color and a uniformly sharp strike.
