Rare in Mint State

1855 $10 MS62 PCGS. This satiny Mint State coin shows minimal abrasions for the grade, with soft yellow-gold luster setting each side aglow. A few of the lower stars show incomplete centrils, but the main devices are bold. The 1855 is one of the more plentiful ten dollar gold issues from this period, but Mint State examples are nonetheless rare in all grades. Population: 6 in 62, 5 finer (7/15).(Registry values: N4719)
