Recovered From the S.S. Republic

1855-O $10 AU55 NGC. Variety 2. Ex: S.S. Republic. The date is low in the field and not blatantly repunched as on Variety 1. Pale yellow-gold surfaces are radiant with semireflectivity on the reverse. The stars show striking softness, but the interiors have better detail. This lot comes with an informative DVD, presentation box (lid separated), and slipcover.(Registry values: N4719)
