Low-Mintage 1855-O Ten Dollar, VF30
1855-O $10 VF30 PCGS. Just 18,000 pieces were struck for this No Motto New Orleans issue. The obverse portrait is significantly sharper than the assigned grade, but the star centers and the eagle's neck are somewhat soft. Bright yellow-gold surfaces display traces of luster in some of the recesses. Several minute circulation marks are scattered over each side.
