1855-S $10 AU53 NGC. This second-year San Francisco issue saw just 9,000 eagles struck, and most of those went straight into commercial channels, leaving precious few survivors. This AU53 coin is high-end for the series, well struck with a number of moderate abrasions but also considerable canary-yellow radiance.
