Low-Mintage San Francisco Rarity
1855-S $10 AU53 NGC. The 1855-S is a challenging issue in
all grades. Only 9,000 pieces were struck, and likely fewer than 80
pieces survive. None are in Mint State. This About Uncirculated
example displays luster in the peripheral fields with warm
straw-gold color throughout. Light wear and scattered abrasions
