Description

1855-S $10 VF20 PCGS. Sandwiched between the 1854-S eagle (123,826 pieces) and the 1856-S eagle (68,000 pieces) is the 1855-S ten, with a tiny mintage of just 9,000 coins. Unsurprisingly, survivors are scarce at any grade level. This VF representative shows a moderate degree of honest wear across each side, and the surfaces are dotted with numerous small abrasions. Quality for the grade.
