Choice XF 1855-S Ten Dollar
1855-S $10 XF45 NGC. The surfaces on this low-mintage issue of 9,000 coins are unsurprisingly somewhat prooflike, despite 15 points of wear. The surfaces are canary-gold, with deeper tinges of lilac around the devices. A loupe reveals moderately abraded surfaces, including a pair of deep nicks on Liberty's chin.
