Description
1855-S XF 40 NGC. A very rare and highly respected issue with an original mintage of only 9,000 pieces. Of the very few known examples, only 5 have been certified by the services in AU. This coin has deep golden-orange color and shows a few small scattered abrasions, none of which are singularly distracting. This lot should be of great interest to gold collectors as so few pieces are available in any condition. Trends $2,350.
