Lustrous Mint State 1856 Eagle
Mintage 60,490 Pieces
1856 $10 MS61 NGC. The 1856 eagle was produced to the extent
of a mere 60,490 business strikes, and Mint State examples are
quite rare, even though they exist up to the MS64 level. This
reddish-gold example shows full, bright Mint luster, with moderate
ticks and abrasions peppered about that preclude a finer grade.
