    1856-O $10 AU53 NGC. Variety 2. This is a scarce issue in any grade, with 100 to 125 coins extant from a mintage of 14,500 eagles. Both sides are generally well-struck, with softness limited to the lower stars and the olive leaves. Semireflective yellow-gold surfaces display numerous abrasions.
