1856-S $10 AU55 PCGS Secure. Large S, scarcer than its Medium S counterpart. Four mintmark positional varieties are known for this issue, two each for the Medium S and Large S, despite a mintage of just 68,000 pieces. An almond-gold Choice AU example with plentiful pockets of luster and one narrow vertical mark in the upper-left obverse field.
