1857 $10 AU55 NGC. A scarce No Motto issue, the 1857 eagle had a mintage of just 16,606 pieces. Most were heavily circulated. The coin is rare in Choice AU such as this example. Several small abrasions are seen but none are individually severe, and the coin has nice remaining mint luster around well-struck devices.
