1857-S $10 AU50 PCGS. With possibly as few as 100 survivors extant from a mintage of 26,000 coins, the 1857-S is, like many of its contemporaries, underappreciated. Detail is good throughout semireflective olive-gold surfaces that are expectedly abraded. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 15 in 50, 23 finer (1/18).From The Admiral Collection.
