    Description

    1858-S Eagle, Unc Details
    Low-Mintage Early San Francisco Issue

1858-S $10 -- Reverse Repaired -- NCS. Unc Details. This early S-mint eagle issue saw a meager mintage of 11,800 coins, most of which survive well-circulated. This piece shows some smoothing in the left and lower fields around the eagle on the reverse, but the excellent, sharp strike and overall good surface preservation are partial recompense. Medium orange-gold surfaces still maintain a good level of vibrancy.
