Not Sold Description
1858-S XF 45. The '58-S is a rare issue that is, in fact, comparable to the more famous 1858 (but nowhere near as well known). The original mintage was an impressively low 11,800 pieces, and it is seldom seen in any grade. Akers rated the '58-S in the top 10% of the entire series in rarity according to frequency of appearance in auction. While cleaned, this piece retains a great deal of luster and is quite pleasing to the eye.
