Not Sold Description
1859-O Eagle, XF 40 PCGS
1859-O XF 40 PCGS. The 1859-O is the rarest O-mint eagle and, in fact, is one of the rarest coins in the entire denomination from 1795 to 1933. Some of the radial details on the stars are evident, and elsewhere the coin is well defined. There is almost enough remaining mint luster for this piece to grade higher. The surfaces are lightly marked and there is a typical amount of even wear. Very elusive and seldom seen any finer.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2642, PCGS# 8629, GSID# 9456)
