Very Rare 1859-S Eagle, AU53
1859-S $10 AU53 PCGS. Apparently all 1859-S eagles have the large S mintmark that appears on the reverse of this piece. Both sides are lustrous with light yellow surfaces, splashed with orange and honey-gold patina. This attractive eagle survives from a small mintage of just 7,000 coins.
