    1859-S $10 Fine 15 NGC. Antique-gold surfaces add to the appeal of this more affordable, evenly worn, and problem-free representative of this rare issue. Although 7,000 pieces were struck, there were no West Coast collectors in 1859, and only an estimated 40 to 60 examples have survived, regardless of grade. Only a sole Mint State specimen has been certified, an NGC-graded MS60 piece. Census: 2 in 15, 34 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N1793)
