1860 $10 AU50 NGC. Rounded or five-fold hairbun subtype. A lightly circulated yellow-gold No Motto ten with moderately marked surfaces. A mere 15,055 eagles were struck at Philadelphia in 1860, and survivors are elusive.Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 12/2010), lot 4509, which realized $1,380.(Registry values: N1793)
