1860 Ten Dollar, AU55
Challenging in High Grade
1860 $10 AU55 NGC. Much luster remains in the protected
areas of the fields on this Choice AU 1860 Liberty eagle. Warm
orange-gold patina complements well-struck design elements, and
scattered field chatter is not bothersome for the grade. One small
rim nick above star 6 serves as a pedigree marker. Finer 1860 tens
are conditionally rare. NGC Census: 36 in 55, 34 finer
(10/25).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2644, PCGS# 8631, Greysheet# 9381)
