Description
Bright, Lustrous AU58 1860 Ten Dollar
1860 $10 AU58 NGC. Often overlooked, especially in high grades, the 1860-P is one of the more challenging P-mints in the No Motto series. A bit softly struck over the highpoints, the surfaces are bright overall with good surviving mint luster, the fields display a slight semi-prooflikeness. Light reddish patina is seen over each side. The only mark of any consequence is a shallow milling mark above the eagle's head on the reverse. Population: 17 in 58, 5 finer (11/04).(#8631) (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2644, PCGS# 8631, GSID# 9381)
