    1860-O Ten Dollar, AU55
    Scarce New Orleans Issue

    1860-O $10 AU55 PCGS. CAC. Variety 1. Two slightly different varieties are known for the 1860-O, Variety 1 can be distinguished by the bold neck curls and die clashing in the reverse shield from the inner ear on the obverse. The 1860-O is the final New Orleans ten of the With Motto type, and only 11,100 examples were produced with an estimated 70 to 85 pieces believed known in all circulated grades. This is a well-struck example that shows bright semiprooflike fields with numerous small but individually insignificant abrasions scattered over each side. Bright yellow-gold color.
