Description
Scarce 1860-O Eagle, AU 55
1860-O $10 AU 55. A relatively small mintage of 11,100 pieces was the total production of 1860-O tens. Apparently they were subsequently released in circulation as presently, there is only one Mint State example known to PCGS (3/01). This partially lustrous AU exhibits relatively smooth surfaces and a decent strike. Not a commonly offered O-mint ten. From the Christopher Young Collection.
