Elusive Mint State 1861 Eagle
1861 $10 MS61 NGC. Bulging Bun subtype. The 1861 is available by the standards of Civil War ten dollar pieces, but most certified examples are in XF or AU grades. Uncirculated coins are rare, also the case for any No Motto issue. This is a well-struck yellow-gold representative with the expected number of small to moderate marks.
