Description
Striking 1861-S Eagle
1861-S $10 PCGS Genuine. The PCGS number ending in .92 suggests Cleaning as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of an AU58 specimen that has been cleaned. Both sides have excellent central definition with only a trace of friction on the high points. Surfaces are generally light yellow-gold with subdued luster from cleaning, though two small alloy spots are noted on the left reverse.Auction Info
