Description

1861-S $10 VF25 NGC. The level of design detail that remains evident is impressive for the grade, especially on the obverse. An attractive khaki representative with hints of dark verdigris near the peripheral devices. Smoothly worn and free of consequential contact. Only 15,500 pieces were struck, since San Francisco favored the double eagle denomination.(Registry values: N1793)
