Description
1862 Eagle, AU50
Bronze-Gold Luster
1862 $10 AU50 PCGS. The 1862 eagle is a difficult
acquisition in all grades, with a relatively low mintage of around
11,000 pieces. Survivorship in higher grades is scarce, as just
five coins have been reported by PCGS in Mint State. This piece is
adorned with bronze-gold luster with light orange tones. Some minor
abrasions appear on the coin, notably around the eagle's beak,
along Liberty's neck, and scattered throughout the fields. PCGS
