Extremely Scarce 1862 Ten Dollar, AU58
1862 $10 AU58 NGC. This Civil War era ten dollar is extremely scarce in circulated condition and virtually unobtainable in Mint State. This near-Mint State specimen is thus an important offering for the date collector. Its yellow-gold surfaces exhibit a good amount of luster in the recessed areas, and the design elements are strongly defined. Minute surface marks are noted on both sides and a few rim bruises occur on the reverse.
