Very Scarce 1862 Ten Dollar in AU 50
1862 $10 AU 50 NGC. An elusive No Motto ten in any condition, being prohibitively rare in grades approaching Mint State. Only 10,960 business strikes were produced during this turbulent Civil War year. The surfaces are moderately abraded and retain much original mint luster beneath splotchy orange patina.
