Not Sold Description
1862-S $10 XF 40 PCGS. One of the more elusive San Francisco issues with only 12,500 pieces struck. Of that small population, many have been lost or severely circulated during the post-Civil War years. This specimen shows even wear, and has a coppery patina on both sides. One horizontal contact mark is noticed above the eagle's head on the reverse.
