1863 Ten Dollar, XF Details
Rare in Any Condition

1863 $10 -- Cleaning -- PCGS Genuine. XF Details. With its famously low mintage of 1,218 pieces, the 1863 Liberty eagle is a rarity in all grades. Only 30-45 coins are thought to survive, per the PCGS estimate, and with only 15 offerings of this date in our auctions in more than two decades, this figure seems accurate. The present coin displays slightly dulled surfaces from cleaning, but has decent bronze-gold color. Scattered abrasions and a few darker alloy spots are seen. The strike is sharp.(Registry values: N4719)
