Nicely Detailed 1864 Eagle
1864 XF 45. A very rare With Motto issue with an original mintage of only 3,530 business strikes. Any '64-P above VF is conditionally rare. This is a well defined coin, with matte-like fields due to numerous small marks on each side. While the eagle probably has the detail of an AU, it must receive the lower grade due to the abrasions. Either way, a very rare coin and worthy of a substantial bid.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 264D, PCGS# 8639, GSID# 9385)
