Description
1865 VF 35. Light in color with subtle brush marks in the fields. Probably an XF by degree of wear and still quite lustrous, but typically soft on the portrait. Just 3,980 pieces were struck of this elusive Philadelphia eagle and the small number of survivors generally grade VF or XF.
