Description

1866 VF 35. A very scarce first year of issue for the With Motto design Coronet ten. This piece is just slightly above average for the issue. There are a couple of scratches around the neck of Liberty and a mark in the left reverse field, but overall the coin has a pleasing medium orange-gold color and exhibits only slight softness of strike.
